*Full Disclosure* Fashion bloggers usually have a distinct look or style. Classy Girls Wear Pearls = preppy and classic. Man Repeller = wacky and inventive. Gal Meets Glam = girly and trendy. But in my 22 years of life, I don't think there has been one time where I've been able to stick to one certain "look". There are just so many looks out there, it didn't (and still doesn't) make sense to limit myself to just one look. So some days my outfits are inspired by Breakfast at Tiffany's and Audrey Hepburn. Other days they are inspired by a breezy summer day in Cape Cod. One day I may want to dress like Leandra, and other days I want nothing more than to dress like Julia. Style is something so fluid and ever-changing that I don't think I will ever truly conform to a standard. Maybe when I'm older, I'll have my own "look" down, but for now I'm having fun with what I wear.
BUT as much as I try to avoid wearing the same thing over and over again, I think I may have found my "fall uniform", at least for the days when I cannot figure out what to wear.
1) The comfy, cozy can't-get-enough-of-it sweater (on sale NOW). I think I may live in this one sweater for the next four months. It is so soft and it will go with everything. It's a little bit slouchy, so it's totally comfortable. 2) The Ankle Bootie. I feel like I may have found the perfect one, and trust me I have been looking for years. The Lakota Bootie from Splendid is not only comfortable and comes in super pretty fall colors, but it's also the perfect mix of western and modern that I feel like I've been looking for. 3) The Foldover Clutch. I've had this clutch for about a year and I love it for everything- whether it's running around doing errands or going out at night and looking sleek and stylish- this clutch does it all.
