Easing into Fall

Fall is fast approaching and it’s time to start thinking of key pieces to transition your wardrobe into the cozier months ahead. While I’m not quite ready for the sun to go away and there are still plenty of warm days to come, I like to start blending summer favorites with some cozy fall options into my closet.

One way I like to do this is adding deeper blue and green pieces like this knit cardigan or this olive top into my wardrobe. I also love adding in some new neutrals - neutrals are timeless and they can make you feel put together in a pinch, plus they help bridge the gap between airy summer colors and moodier fall tones. I love this embroidered blouse to pair with jeans - I love this pair with the embroidered floral detail.

Talking about knits, let’s talk about this light blue knit cardigan, I fell in love with it the moment I saw it! Again, it is a great addition to your transitioning wardrobe. You can easily throw it over a top and shorts for warmer fall days or wear it with midi skirts and booties for cooler days.

Staples like a classic blazer are still popular and choosing one in this moody blue tone works well with cropped jean or skirts and summer dresses. These slide sandals are definitely trending this season. They give you a polished look with just a touch of edge.

Have you seen these gorgeous gold hoop earrings? I don’t love a lot of jewelry but I love simple staple pieces like these. Their fun twisted shape is the perfect way to add some style and edge this fall. I’ve been in search of a pair that I can wear with everything, and I think these are both classic but with a little unique touch.

New season, new bag? I love browsing Fashionphile for designer bags, and I’m adding both of these to my wish list or even Christmas list. This beautiful light blue quilted bag from Chanel is a splurge. But the style has been part of their collection for years and there is something about this green blue and gold color combo that I love, it’s sure to be a well-loved addition for years to come. I also love this beautiful deeper jewel toned boy bag from Chanel for something with a slightly edgier feel.

And of course, you can never go wrong with a flirty printed dress that can be dressed up or down. Style this one with sneakers for a casual look or dress it up with wedges for a night out.
