Design Crush: Ariel Okin

I’ve long been a fan and follower of Ariel Okin, founder of Ariel Okin Interiors, a full service interior design firm in New York. Ariel’s style is warm, bright, and colorful. Think traditional but a little bit funky - she has a true talent for layering patterns, colors and textures in all of her designs.

Ariel started Ariel Okin Interiors in 2016, and has been heavily featured in design publications including Elle Decor, Architextural Digest, House Beautiful, Vogue and more. In 2019, Ariel’s work for Lena Dunham’s West Village home graced the cover of the Fall issue of Domino; Ariel also designed the New York Headquarters for Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop that same year.

Outside her design work, Ariel also helms the editorial arm of her design business, Fenimore Lane, a blog full of interior design inspiration and interviews!

I recently listed to How’d She Do That’s episode with Ariel, and it was honestly incredible listening to her story and (not straightforward) path to interior design. I would highly recommend listening to it if you enjoy interior design and especially if you are looking into becoming an interior designer.

I love so many of her designs and can’t wait for you all to scroll through!
