Design Trend: Scenic Wall Murals
I recently watched all of the webisodes featuring Tan France’s newly built house in Salt Lake City designed by The Fox Group, one of my favorite Interior Design firms. Though there were many stunning details throughout the home, the mural wallpaper in their entry that cascaded down a curved staircase from the second floor caught my eye. I love these life-like paintings on paper that create the feeling of the outdoors, without being overly feminine as it might with a chinoiserie style paper. Susan Harter is the creative behind this custom mural paper, and upon further investigation, I realized I’d seen her work many times before.
